Offering several different styles of treated softwood treated fencing – traditional wood panel, featheredge, close board, hit and miss and picket.
We have a strong reputation for fencing, gates and wooden structures, which covers mainly residential properties.
- Panel fences are popular for residential properties give great privacy we use high quality local panels (made by A&S paving of Crediton) 3ft, 4ft, 5ft & 6ft the customers choice we can use branded mid range panels Jewsons or Tuckers of Crediton. We use hundreds of these each year.
- Feather Edge boards (most popular) offer a strong flexible fence, feather edge softwood is pressure treated which tapers from one end to the other. Usually placed upright. Ideal for undulating / custom boundaries. Can be tailored to suit your needs – we often use this system for fencing an uneven boundary.
- Close Board is one of the strongest fences we build and. In general terms they are150mm or 100mm wide boards which have a small gap (5mm-20mm) between them this gives good privacy but allows winds and expansion they are installed to our standard posts (100mm wide) and are screwed on..
- Hit and Miss (opposite sides) these fences are a strong tall choice – 100mm posts with three central rails running horizontal (top middle and bottom) treated boards applied each side for full wind protection. We have customised this style to our clients requirement. Good for foliage growth we can install vertical or horizontal.
- Picket Fence we do many meters each year round topped or flat topped can be used for children, dogs and elderly. Often 90cm high or 1.2m high and we can incorporate gates to match all custom made to fit your property and requirements.
Recently we have been asked to create children’s safe play enclosures (schools etc) also dog run fences with post and rail incorporating wood and wire.
Additionally we create decking, pergolas, garden seating areas, workshops, man sheds, outside bike shelters & open car port garages
Size varies from 1m x 1m to 12m x 12m normally. It can include concrete bases thermal barriers, dpm and many custom finishes.
